Steps For Entry into the Surgical Technology Program

- Attend Surgical Technology Orientation at the Jill S. Weekley Learning Center
- Basic Skills Testing during Jill S. Weekley Learning Center hours
- Begin self-paced classes or participate in group class (Times available at orientation)
- Schedule for Official Test (Cost will be discussed at Surgical Technology Orientation. Test given March 8, 15, and 22, 2012)
- Await scores(By the end of April)
- Interview in May (An interview will be scheduled for anyone who scores in the 41.3 percentile [basic proficiency] or higher on the ATI-TEAS Pre-Admission Test.)
- Await acceptance letter from Surgical Technology program
- Enroll in Surgical Technology program (Class begins mid-August 2012)
